XSB, Inc. is a privately held Product Content and Data Management (PCDM) technology company founded in 1998. The evolution of our core technology has been driven primarily by the need to extract meaning from the rich but unstructured data environment on the World Wide Web and legacy data systems. Data that is unstructured, inconsistent and incomplete is of little value in supporting decision making. Unfortunately, only about 20% of business content is in a structured and useable format. Gleaning consistent, complete, actionable data from jargon-rich technical information is often a difficult, costly and labor intensive process.

Our intelligent applications utilize a unique combination of ontology-based technologies for semantic reasoning, automated software agents, as well as statistical and rule-based algorithms. This enables our solutions to autonomously transform unstructured data into information that is rich, structured, precise and timely; we call this Coherent Data.
